Practical questions

Are campaigns sent to every customer?

No. Excluded, unsubscribed or non-consenting contacts are not eligible for marketing campaigns. Transactional notifications serve a separate purpose.

How is marketing signup confirmed?

Double opt-in uses a separate confirmation email. A request alone does not make a contact eligible.
